Thomas Scuderi

BIO

Having been elected a local councillor in Metz, Thomas Scuderi held the title of Deputy Mayor in charge of Young People and Associative and Youth Activities between 2008 and 2014. In 2014, he was named Deputy in charge of Citizenship, Participatory Democracy and the Coordination of Local Deputies. One of his most important contributions to local political life was to implement the participatory budget, a key pledge made by the area’s socialist mayor. At a professional level, Thomas founded the third sector communications agency Culture & Communications. After heading up the agency for six years, he left to become Head of Volunteer Networks at AFM-Téléthon and later Head of Development at AMAPA. Today, he is a project manager at the Department for Young People in the Grand Est region.
