Konstantina Karydi
Associate Director, City and Practice Management, 100 Resilient Cities | Greece SpeakerBIO
Konstantina Karydi comes to 100 Resilient Cities from the office of Athens Mayor Giorgos Kaminis, where she was the Special Advisor on European Policies and Public Administration. In this role, she worked directly under the Chief of Staff with a special focus on European urban development and social affairs. She had a horizontal overview of the municipal priorities and was responsible for developing city to city relations and following key urban policies at the European Union level as well as acting as city representative in major European and international fora. Prior to this, she was a Research Fellow and Policy Officer at the European think-tank Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy and the Central Union of Municipalities of Greece working on governance and participation fields.
She is Vice-President and Co-Founder of the regional organization Balkans Beyond Borders, and member of the network of excellence on European Affairs Future Lab Europe.
