A trained designer, Mathilde Aglietta is a member of the team at Simplon.co. The project, originally set up in Montreuil, has been taken to Lyon where Mathilde is in charge of its expansion. Simplon is a cooperative of code-makers, a social enterprise of social utility and a public interest association. The project promotes the use of digital and social innovation for the purpose of inclusion and empowerment. Simplon.co aims to revolutionise our relationship with digital technologies and to make fundamental digital tools more accessible for our connected societies. Committed to helping women to take possession of the language of code, Mathilde is the co-organiser of Rails Girls in Lyon. A genuinely international community, Rails Girls organises events all over the world, making technology more accessible and within reach, providing women with new tools but also demonstrating the diversity of web development.
